Hotelympia 10K Run

Manitowoc Foodservice UK congratulates Edward Loughton and Richard Paine who volunteered to run the Hotelympia 10k on Sunday 28th February 2010 on our behalf. Both survived the weather and did very well by finishing in 43 minutes.

Richard and Edward’s entry fees went to the Springboard UK Charity, which helps young, unemployed and disadvantaged people improve their chances in life by providing information and advice, skills development opportunities and work experience throughout the hospitality industry and at the same time helping the industry address its severe skills shortage.

Richard and Edward also decided to raise some money for Help for Heroes. Thanks to everyone’s generosity and Manitowoc Foodservice matching the donations pledged, they raised £1,014 for a very worthy cause.
