Enodis Introduce Enerlogic logo in Energy Efficiency Drive

31st August 2006

Enodis UK Food Service Group has introduced a new logo to highlight those models in their portfolio that have the best energy efficient operation.  The new EnerLogic will feature on specific models from five of the group’s brands including Convotherm, Frymaster, Dean, Cleveland and Garland.  It is intended that the new logo will help operators to maximise profits by identifying energy efficient and resource saving foodservice equipment.

Ian Osborne, Group Managing Director for Enodis UK explains:

“The EnerLogic program echoes Enodis’ ongoing commitment to leadership in innovation and energy efficiency.  As a group we are dedicated to developing more next generation equipment that meets the needs of our customers with regards to speed, energy efficiency, productivity, and safety.”

The initiative, spearheaded by Enodis US manufacturers, highlights models that meet Energy Star and the Consortium for Energy Efficiency (CEE) standards, which are based on those laid down by the Internationally recognised, ASTM.

The total savings potential for an energy efficient commercial kitchen can vary from 10-30 percent, depending on the technology installed, according to the Consortium for Energy Efficiency.

The Enodis EnerLogic seal features three separate flame-shaped petals coming together to form a flower.  Each petal of the flower is a different colour, representing a different form of energy, blue for water, yellow for electricity and orange for gas.
