Cool Display Units Thanks to Delfield

Delfield has introduced the very latest airflow technology to their new range of self-service merchandiser units. Using a patented Impinged Air Distribution system, the air circulates through the shelf posts to the unique hollow shelves where it is then evenly spread onto the product below. This innovative new design for chilled air distribution saves energy, time and money, and improves the shelf life of the sandwiches, wraps or salads you have on display.

As the air naturally flows down from the shelf above it gives complete cooling across the full area of the shelf, which leads to increased display capacity as even products at the front of the cabinet stay chilled.  

For added convenience the complete refrigeration system is contained in one easily removable cassette, so that servicing and maintenance can be completed in a matter of minutes! The shelf positions can also be changed in seconds, creating a vast saving on down time.

Saving energy does not mean losing out on aesthetics, the Merchandiser comes with integral lighting within the shelves to illuminate the products on display – these high efficiency LED lights consume 85% less power and reduce heat to the cabinet, lowering power consumption and ultimately increasing the life span of the unit to five times greater than a conventional unit.

The Impinged Air system is available on both 900mm and 1300mm cabinets.
